Awntex® 120 solar screen fabric blocks over 90% of the sun’s rays.
Outdoor shades made with solar screen fabric make living spaces more comfortable, reduce energy costs and offer privacy without blocking the view. For mesh screen products where a high shade factor and vibrant colors are important, Superior Awning uses tough, durable AWNTEX® brand fabric made of 36 x 18 count vinyl polyester mesh (also available in a 70% shade factor). Originally designed to reduce heat transfer, this fabric also reduces glare for viewing television and device screens. (Note: Awntex® 120 does not meet CSFM certification for flame retardancy. Please see Textilene® 90, Textilene® 95 or Awntex® 70 galleries for certified flame retardant mesh fabrics.
