Awntex® 70 solar screen fabric blocks up to 70% of the sun’s rays.
Outdoor shades made with solar screen fabric make living spaces more comfortable, reduce energy costs and offer privacy without blocking the view. For mesh screen products where a moderate shade factor, flame retardancy and vibrant colors are important, Superior Awning uses tough, durable AWNTEX® 70 fabric made of 17 x 11 count vinyl polyester mesh (also available in a 90% shade factor). Originally designed to reduce heat transfer, this fabric also reduces glare for viewing television and device screens. Flame retardant in accordance with CSFM, Title 19 certification, this versatile fabric will endure years of outdoor use under even extreme conditions.
